Account Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Accounts to oversee our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of managing a team and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Manager of Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, including Banking, Cash Flow, AR, AP, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities - Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Develop and implement financial policies and procedures - Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management - Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial analysts - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards - Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives - Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field - 5-8 years of experience in accounting and finance - Proven experience managing a team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards Show more Show less
