Job Description

The position entails proactively identifying cyber security sales opportunities within the company's existing account base as well as new accounts. You will be responsible for promoting the cyber security proposition to drive new cross-sell activity. Additionally, you will own, develop, and execute all aspects of the sales cycle for cyber security opportunities. It is imperative to accurately manage and report sales forecasts using relevant company systems and maintain updated customer and opportunity records on these systems. Moreover, the role requires contributing to the development of the company's cyber security proposition and undertaking assignments as needed by the business to drive growth or enhance customer experience. You will also be accountable for revenues, margins, and ensuring 100% on-time collections. An essential aspect of the role is the ability to gather market intelligence on opportunities. Candidates should possess an understanding of IT products and services, encompassing hardware, software, networking, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and data management. Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and trends is crucial, along with a proven track record in sales, preferably within the IT industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and exhibit strong analytical, negotiation, and closing skills. Experience in managing sales pipelines and forecasting is advantageous. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment, displaying flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and organizational objectives. Resilience in overcoming challenges and setbacks during the sales process is essential. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills are necessary to build and maintain relationships with clients.
