Job Summary:

The Account Head will lead the accounting function of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial operations. This role involves overseeing the accounts team, managing the company’s financial accounting, monitoring internal controls, and working closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes; ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures.
• Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives in the finance function.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
• Provide strategic input to senior management based on financial insights and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards
• Proficient in accounting software
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
