Account Executive PR

About The Opportunity

• Plan and execute day-to-day PR activities for assigned accounts — media outreach, press releases, bylines and story angles to meet client objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers and influencers; proactively pitch stories and secure coverage across print, online and broadcast.
• Coordinate on-ground and virtual events, product launches, media briefings and press tours including logistics and stakeholder management.
• Monitor media coverage, compile accurate clippings and deliver timely reports and insights that demonstrate campaign impact.
• Support crisis communications preparedness and rapid response drafting under guidance from senior leads.
• Manage client communications and internal project coordination to ensure deadlines, approvals and deliverables are met.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of PR or communications experience (agency background preferred)
• Proven success securing coverage in national and trade media
• Strong writing ability: press releases, pitches, op-eds and media notes
• Hands-on experience with media monitoring and reporting tools
• Client servicing and account management experience in an agency setting
• Ability to work full-time on-site and manage event logistics

• Experience with influencer outreach and integrated campaigns
• Familiarity with Cision or Meltwater
• Exposure to brand strategy or integrated marketing projects
  

• Fast-paced agency environment with steep learning and exposure to marquee brands
