Job Title: Account Assistant
Location: Chennai

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge in Tally, basic statutory compliance understanding (like GST and TDS), and proficiency in Excel tools like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally for:
• Sales
• Purchases
• Receipts
• Payments
• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns and ensuring compliance with TDS provisions.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
• Support in preparing reports, ledgers, and statements as required.
• Perform data analysis and generate insights using Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for invoice reconciliation and follow-ups.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
• 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
