Sales Assistant belgaum 1 - 2 years INR 3.25 - 5.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Sales Executive in managing customer interactions, maintaining sales records and coordinating with internal departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for motorsports and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Roles & Responsibilities Customer Interaction & Sales Support - Assist the Sales Executive in handling incoming inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, Indiamart and other platforms. - Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries related to Go-karts, Buggies, Spares, Barriers and Track Designs. - Provide product information, pricing and availability to potential and existing customers. - Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into confirmed sales. - Maintain a courteous and customer-focused approach at all times. Sales Documentation & Reporting - Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date sales interaction log, including: - Customer type (New/Existing) - Inquiry status (Open, Work in Progress, Closed) - Communication channel used - Key discussion points and next steps - Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for internal review. - Track and report on sales performance metrics and customer feedback. Internal Coordination - Liaise with production, materials, logistics and finance departments to ensure timely delivery and invoicing of products. - Coordinate with the design team for custom track layouts or product modifications. - Raise any risks, delays or issues to the Sales Executive, the Managing Director and relevant departments promptly. Process Improvement & Feedback - Identify and suggest improvements in the sales process, customer engagement and documentation practices. - Participate in regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share insights and align on goals. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. - 1 to 2 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role (preferably in automotive or manufacturing). - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. - Passion for motorsports or mechanical products and knowledge in CRM tools is a plus.
