Account Executive

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in ERP/Tally.
• Record purchase, sales, journal, and bank entries.
• Prepare and reconcile ledgers, cash book, and bank book.
• Assist in monthly and yearly account closing.

2. GST & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Handle e-way bills and GST reconciliation.
• Assist in TDS, TCS, PF, ESIC compliance.
• Maintain statutory records and registers.

3. Inventory & Store Accounting

• Maintain stock records of raw materials, finished goods, scrap.
• Coordinate with store and production departments.
• Reconcile physical stock with books.
• Assist in cost tracking and material consumption analysis.

4. Vendor & Customer Accounting

• Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.
• Vendor and customer ledger reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding payables and receivables.
• Follow up for customer collections.

5. Banking & Cash Management

• Assist in bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
• Handle cheque issuance and bank documentation.
• Support CC limit documentation and bank reporting.

6. MIS & Reporting Support

• Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports.
• Support costing and profitability analysis.
• Provide data for audits and management reviews.

7. Audit & Compliance Support

• Support statutory, internal, and GST audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of accounting principles and GST
• Experience in manufacturing / steel industry preferred
• ERP/Tally proficiency
• Good coordination and follow-up skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

Experience

• 2–6 years of relevant experience
• Preferably in Steel / TMT Bar / Manufacturing Industry
