Account Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the full set of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Oversee import-related accounting such as LC entries, foreign currency transactions, landed cost calculations, and vendor payments.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Prepare and review GST, TDS, and other statutory filings; ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile inter-company, supplier, and customer accounts on a regular basis.
• Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams for accurate valuation and stock audit.
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and banks for audits, assessments, and financial documentation.
• Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support management with MIS reports, cost analysis, and profitability reviews.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and import documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and data analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate across departments.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Should work to reduce cost and increase profits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• CA Inter / CMA (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in import/export, trading, or distribution companies.
• Sound understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
