Job Description

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role supports smooth financial functioning and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries (Bank, Cash, Journal, Sales, Purchase).
  • Update and reconcile

    ledgers

    ,

    balance sheets

    , and

    profit & loss statements

    .
  • Handle

    accounts receivable

    and

    accounts payable

    processes.
  • Perform

    bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

    .

2. Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare

    sales invoices

    ,

    debit/credit notes

    , and share with clients.
  • Follow up for payments and maintain ageing reports.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments as per schedules.

3. GST / TDS Compliance

  • Prepare and assist in

    GST returns

    ,

    TDS calculations

    , and

    challan payments

    .
  • Maintain all statutory records and ensure compliance with deadlines.

4. Payroll Support

  • Assist in preparing payroll data like attendance, deductions, reimbursements, etc.
  • Coordinate with HR for salary processing and statutory payments (PF/ESI/PT).

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain financial documents and filing systems (physical & digital).
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
  • Assist auditors during internal and external audits.

6. Coordination & Communication

  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for billing, queries, and reconciliations. Support the finance team in daily tasks and month-end closing.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    Tally ERP / Tally Prime / Accounting Software

    .
  • Good understanding of

    GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles

    .
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel, Word, and Email communication

    .
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
