Reports to: Head of Vertical Sales – Food & BeverageExperience: 8–12 yearsFunction: Sales | Digital Industries | Food & BeveragePurpose of the RoleAs our Account Manager – F&B Vertical, you won’t be baking bread—but you will be baking business strategies that help our customers rise. This role is perfect for someone who can talk tech over tea, pitch automation while sipping espresso, and turn digital transformation into a five-star experience. If you are one who clears the traffic getting down from your vehicle in the event of a traffic jam to move forward, we are looking for you to have a discussion!Main ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Relationship ManagementManage and grow a portfolio of strategic Food & Beverage accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.Understand customer business models, challenges, and goals to co-create impactful digital transformation strategies.Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute account plans aligned with vertical sales objectives and customer needs.Collaborate with internal teams (Solution Architects, Portfolio Managers, Marketing, and Services) to deliver tailored value propositions.Identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across the DI portfolio.Innovation & Value CreationIntroduce customers to cutting-edge technologies including automation, AI, IoT, and digital enterprise solutions.Address industry-specific challenges such as traceability, energy efficiency, and production agility.Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.Collaboration & EnablementAlign with the Head of Vertical Sales on strategic priorities and customer development programs.Partner with Marketing to support demand generation initiatives and customer engagement campaigns.Contribute to reference generation, success stories, and lessons learned documentation.Performance & ReportingAchieve Order Intake (OI), revenue, and customer satisfaction targets.Maintain accurate records and pipeline visibility using CRM tools (e.g., SieSales, SFDC).Provide regular updates on account performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence.What You Need to Make a Real ImpactBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field with an MBA preferred.8–12 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Food & Beverage, Automation, or Digital Solutions sectors.Strong understanding of F&B industry operations, regulatory landscape, and digitalization trends.Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver consistent business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Passion for innovation, customer success, and sustainable solutions.Proficiency in CRM tools and digital sales platforms (SieSales, SFDC, etc.).Strong inter-personal skills and more of a giver than taker.
