Role Objective (Why this role exists):

The Admission Counsellor guides law students, graduates, and early-career advocates in selecting the right legal courses and mentorship programs based on their career goals. The role focuses on need-based counselling, trust-building, and ethical conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

● Counsel prospective learners on:

○ Legal courses, workshops, and certification programs

○ Career pathways in litigation, corporate law, compliance, etc.

● Understand learner background (student, fresher, practicing advocate) and recommend suitable programs.

● Handle inbound and outbound enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM.

● Clearly explain:

○ Course structure

○ Faculty & mentor profiles

○ Outcomes, timelines, and certification value

● Follow up with leads and manage the complete admission lifecycle.

● Coordinate with Academic Operations for batch availability and onboarding.

● Maintain accurate lead and conversion data in CRM.

● Ensure a high-quality learner onboarding experience.

Key Skills & Competencies:

● Strong communication and persuasion skills.

● Ability to explain legal programs without mis-selling or exaggeration.

● High empathy and consultative selling mindset.

● Comfortable working with CRM systems and lead trackers.

● Ability to handle objections professionally.

Preferred Background & Experience:

● Graduate in any discipline (Law background preferred).

● 1–4 years of experience in:

○ Admissions counselling

○ Edtech sales

○ Professional course enrolments

● Experience selling law, finance, or professional skill-based courses is a strong advantage.

KPIs / OKRs:

● Lead-to-admission conversion rate ≥ 20–25%

● Monthly enrolment targets achieved ≥ 100%

● Average response time to new leads ≤ 15 minutes

● Drop-off rate post-counselling ≤ 10%

● Learner onboarding satisfaction score ≥ 4.2/5

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹552,648.11 per year
