🛠️ Your RoleAs a Senior React Native Developer, you’ll own the mobile development stack and help translate our emotionally intelligent product philosophy into a hybrid app that works seamlessly on Android and iOS.

You’ll:

• Lead development and deployment of Nova’s React Native mobile app (iOS + Android)
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring Nova’s features to life (e.g., Feel-First Mode, Karma Score, KindStart prompts)
• Optimize performance and ensure a smooth, emotionally soothing UI/UX
• Integrate AI features via APIs (e.g., emotional tone nudges, red flag detection, engagement tracking)
• Ensure app meets App Store and Play Store publishing requirements
• Maintain code quality, write unit tests, and support CI/CD workflows
• 🔍 Must-Have Skills6+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 4 years in React Native
• Strong knowledge of cross-platform compatibility, navigation stacks, push notifications, offline sync
• Proven track record of publishing apps to both App Store and Play Store
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, Firebase/Supabase backend services
• Solid understanding of mobile performance profiling and debugging
• Ability to write clean, scalable, well-documented code
• Familiarity with secure mobile storage, privacy-first data handling
• ✨ Good-to-HaveExposure to AI-based features in mobile apps (e.g., LLM APIs, sentiment detection, recommender systems)
• Experience working on consumer-facing apps with emotionally sensitive UX
• Knowledge of animation libraries (e.g., Reanimated, Lottie) for micro-interactions
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bitrise, App Center, Fastlane
