About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Zonal Sales Manager (General Trade) to lead and drive business development across assigned regions. You will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, expanding distribution, managing teams, and building strong market and customer connections within your zone.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development:

  • Drive key sales initiatives to meet and exceed zonal targets
  • Expand distribution and strengthen market presence
  • Identify zone-level challenges and take corrective actions promptly
  • Support business continuity by closing working gaps in sales and support functions

Team & Performance Management:

  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing field staff
  • Ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities through regular communication
  • Implement performance management and employee development plans
  • Monitor field activity and guide team members for consistent improvement

Customer & Market Engagement:

  • Engage with top dealers, customers, and consultants in the zone
  • Conduct regular field visits for deeper market understanding
  • Foster strong partnerships to enhance brand visibility and loyalty

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing (Mandatory)
  • 8–10 years of proven experience in FMCG sales (Beverage industry preferred)
  • Prior experience in business development, regional sales, or zonal sales leadership
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
