Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced and result-oriented Zonal Managers for western Indian region to drive sales and business growth of our high-quality vegetable seed( Cauliflower, Cabbage, Carrot, Onion, Radish, cucurbits etc.). The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets through effective management of their team , Farmers, dealers, distributors, and retailers in the assigned zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve zonal sales targets and ensure consistent growth of vegetable seed portfolio
  • Appoint and develop new dealers/distributors while strengthening relationships with existing channel partners
  • Regularly visit dealers, distributors, and key retailers in the zone
  • Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, trials, and promotional activities
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and farmer feedback
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding
  • Coordinate with marketing, production, and supply-chain teams for smooth operations
  • Train and motivate the field team and channel partners on new products and schemes.
  • Strong team-handling & leadership experience.
  • Must be able to Hire and fire sales staff as per needs in the market.
  • Lead, mentor, manage & drive a team of 515 Sales officers & field staff
  • Good analytical skills P&L understanding, budgeting, Human resource Management, and market intelligence.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–12 years of experience in agri-sales and/or market development
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the West India market
  • Strong existing network of dealers and distributors in Maharashtra/Gujarat/MP/Rajasthan/Punjab will be a big advantage
  • Good knowledge of vegetable crops, farmer segments, and seasonal patterns in the region
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70–80% field work)
  • Graduation in Agriculture (B.Sc/M.Sc Agri) preferred; candidates with relevant experience from other backgrounds may also apply
  • Proficiency in Hindi + English+local Language.
