Key Job Responsibilities Achieve annual sales targets (Primary & Secondary) for the zone Lead, mentor & drive a team of 515 Area Managers & field staff Must be able to Hire and fire sales staff as per need in the market. Appoint & manage distributors; expand retailer network Plan & execute farmer meetings, demo plots, result demonstrations, village campaigns Launch new hybrids/varieties successfully in the zone Maintain strict credit control & keep overdues within company norms Monitor competitor activities and devise counter strategies Liaise with state agriculture departments, KVKs, universities for government/institutional business Prepare & present monthly/quarterly business reviews to National Head Required Skills & Competencies Proven track record of achieving 100%+ sales targets in seeds or agri-inputs Strong team-handling & leadership experience across multiple states Excellent farmer connect & on-field execution capabilities Good analytical skills – P&L understanding, budgeting, Human resource Management, and market intelligence-Very Important Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SFA/CRM tools is a plus High energy, result-oriented, willing to travel 18–22 days/month Two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license mandatory
