Role Summary

The Zonal Sales Manager (North Zone) will oversee complete sales operations across North India, drive revenue growth, appoint channel partners, and lead a high-performing sales team to meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead sales operations across the entire North Zone.
  • Appoint and oversee Super Stockists (SS), distributors, and channel partners.
  • Achieve zonal monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for all northern states.
  • Track and monitor sales performance of state-wise teams (ASM/RSM/SO).
  • Conduct market visits, competitor analysis, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and merchandising.
  • Train, guide, and motivate the sales team for consistent performance.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and pricing structures.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team-handling capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of FMCG distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the North Zone.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/PG in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in Makhana/Dry Fruits/Snacking category.
  • Prior experience in managing multiple states/zones is highly preferred.
