Zonal Manager-Telangana

Role & responsibilities

1.Strategic Planning and Regional Execution

• Develop and implement zonal-level operational strategies aligned with the organizations goals.
  
• Monitor execution of systems and processes to continuously enhance operational efficiency across all branches under the zone.
  
• Guide and ensure successful implementation of new initiatives aimed at improving the zones performance.
  

2. Business Development & Financial Accountability

• Drive income generation and business expansion in the zone as per targets outlined in the annual business plan.
  
• Achieve both top-line (revenue) and bottom-line (profit) targets quarterly and annually.
  
• Analyze business trends, identify opportunities for growth, and steer initiatives that contribute to long-term sustainability.
  

3. Portfolio Quality & Risk Management

• Ensure maintenance of a high-quality portfolio across all branches in the zone with minimal delinquency and risk.
  
• Monitor key indicators such as Portfolio at Risk (PAR), collection efficiency, and overdue accounts.
  
• Identify underperforming branches and provide timely support and corrective measures.
  

4. Compliance & Audit Management

• Ensure 100% compliance with internal audit standards, statutory regulations, and company policies within the zone.
  
• Address and close audit findings in a time-bound manner.
  
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and other regulatory frameworks, including ESIC, PF, Shops & Establishments Acts, etc.
  

5. Cost Monitoring & Financial Discipline

• Monitor and control operating costs at the zonal and branch levels in alignment with budgetary limits.
  
• Ensure cost-effectiveness in resource utilization without compromising on service delivery and compliance.
  

6. Human Resource & Talent Management

• Facilitate manpower planning, transfers, deputations, and redeployment of staff within the zone based on operational needs.
  
• Anchor performance appraisals, probation confirmations, promotions, and disciplinary proceedings in consultation with HO-HR.
  
• Ensure effective leave and attendance management and verify payroll inputs from branches under the zone.
  

7. Branch Operations & Process Compliance

• Oversee smooth functioning of all branch operations under the zone.
  
• Conduct regular branch visits to ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance standards, and service quality benchmarks.
  
• Identify process gaps and initiate improvement measures to enhance operational performance.
  

8. Infrastructure & Facility Management

• Ensure infrastructure readiness, maintenance, and cleanliness across all branches and the zonal office.
  
• Manage all activities related to new branch openings, including documentation, statutory registrations, agreement execution, bank account opening, and maintenance of relevant registers.
  

9. Accounting Oversight

• Monitor branch-level accounting processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting.
  
• Work with Finance and Compliance teams to ensure uniform accounting standards across the zone.
