Job Title: Zonal Manager
Location: Chennai, Tamil NaduAnnual Package: 9 10 LakhsExperience Required: Minimum 5 years (Mattress and Furniture industry experience preferred)Department: Sales & MarketingReporting To: Regional Head / DirectorsJob Summary:We are seeking a results-driven Zonal Manager to oversee and drive sales operations in the assigned zone for our Mattress and Furniture business. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in channel sales, Distributor,dealer management, and team leadership within the home furnishing or allied industry.The role requires strategic thinking, strong market understanding, and the ability to expand brand presence and achieve sales targets consistently.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:Develop and execute zonal sales strategies to achieve business targets.Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and retail partners.Ensure consistent sales growth through effective territory management.Plan and implement promotional and branding activities to increase market share.Team Management:Lead, motivate, and guide Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives in the zone.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training/coaching to the team.Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and sales achievement.Channel & Key Account Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers, retailers, and institutional clients.Ensure dealer satisfaction through timely supply, product training, and support.Handle escalations and resolve channel-related issues efficiently.Market Analysis & Reporting:Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.Analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and share actionable insights with management.Forecast monthly and quarterly sales, and align targets with company objectives.Operational Responsibilities:Coordinate with logistics, finance, and production teams for smooth operations.Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, and brand guidelines.Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and market development initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales / Business Development in the Mattress, Furniture, or Home Furnishing industry.Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Proven record of achieving zonal or regional sales targets.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.Compensation & Benefits:CTC: 9 – 10 Lakhs per annum (based on experience and performance).Travel allowance and other business-related reimbursements.Career growth opportunities within a fast-growing brand.
