A Leading Scheduled Commercial Bank is looking for an experienced Zonal Head – Micro Banking to join its dynamic Leadership Team in MH/MP Department: Micro Banking Vertical – Leadership Reports To: Head of Microbanking / Regional Business Head Qualifications & Experience: Education: * Essential: Bachelor's degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university. * Preferred: Postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA/PGDM in Finance or Marketing) or a professional qualification in Banking/Microfinance. Experience: * 12-15 years of total experience in the Microfinance/Microbanking sector. * A minimum of 9 years in a Senior Leadership/Managerial role (e.g., Regional Head, Cluster Head) managing a large portfolio and geographically dispersed teams. Job Role: The Zonal Head will be responsible for the overall Profit & Loss (P&L), strategic growth, and operational efficiency of the designated zone. This includes: * Strategic Planning: Formulating and executing the annual business plan for the zone to achieve aggressive targets in portfolio growth, quality (NPA management), and profitability. * Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and managing Area and Regional Managers to drive a high-performance, compliant, and customer-centric culture. * Risk & Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to RBI guidelines, internal credit policies, and operational standards across all branches in the zone. * Market Development: Identifying new market opportunities, driving expansion, and enhancing the bank's brand presence in the microbanking segment within the zone.
