Role Description

We are seeking a highly creative and commercially minded Workspace Design Specialist who possesses a strong foundation in furniture and spatial design. This pivotal role requires combining technical design expertise with excellent presentation skills to win projects. The specialist will translate client needs into cutting-edge workspace designs, leveraging the Steelcase product portfolio, and ultimately drive the successful sale of the solution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative workspace concepts (layouts, collaborative zones, private offices) based on client briefs.
• Integrate principles of ergonomics, well-being, and future-forward design.
• Strategically select and apply the full range of

  Steelcase

  furniture systems and products.
• Prepare preliminary space plans and furniture layouts.
• Produce

  stunning, photo-realistic 3D renders

  using software like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, and rendering engines.
• Create compelling sales presentations (PowerPoint/Keynote).
• Clearly and confidently articulate the design choices and strategic advantages of the proposed solution to corporate clients.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to understand client budget, timeline, and strategic business goals (Consultative Approach).
• Efficiently incorporate client feedback and revisions into designs and renders.

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years

  of professional experience specializing in corporate or commercial interior design, with a focus on furniture and space planning.
• Expert level proficiency in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization software (e.g.,

  V-Ray, Corona, SketchUp, AutoCAD

  ).

• Essential Skills:

  Exceptional verbal communication and professional presence , a robust design portfolio , ability to master Steelcase product knowledge , and sales acumen.
• Immediate or 15 days joiners are preferred.
