Workshop Manager

• Workshop Operations & Execution
• Manage daily workshop activities including component overhauls, major assemblies, and structural repairs.
• Ensure timely completion of repair jobs as per maintenance plan and breakdown priorities.
• Supervise accurate fault diagnosis, dismantling, repair, and reassembly of HEMM and UG equipment.
• Team Leadership & Supervision
• Lead a team of mechanics, welders, fitters, electricians, and supervisors.
• Ensure shift-wise task allocation, productivity tracking, and skill development.
• Enforce discipline, safety, and quality standards within the workshop.
• Maintenance Quality & Technical Standards
• Implement and monitor adherence to OEM service standards and SOPs.
• Conduct final inspection and sign-off for critical jobs before equipment dispatch.
• Monitor component and equipment life cycle performance and corrective measures.
• Resource Planning & Inventory Coordination
• Coordinate with stores for timely availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Raise material requests (MRNs), follow up on pending items, and manage critical stock levels.
• Ensure proper handling, tagging, and documentation of replaced parts and reusable components.
• Safety, Compliance & 5S
• Enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and LOTOTO procedures.
• Conduct safety tool-box talks, audits, and ensure PPE compliance.
• Maintain 5S standards, equipment layout discipline, and cleanliness in the workshop.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain job cards, repair logs, service history, and failure analysis reports.
• Submit daily and weekly reports on workshop progress, manpower utilization, and job pending status.
• Participate in technical review meetings and action plan follow-ups.
