(https://www.iflair.com) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Team Leader to manage and lead a team of WordPress developers. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, plugin development, PHP, API integration, and SQL , combined with excellent communication and leadership skills. The candidate should also have the ability to take technical decisions independently in the best interest of the project. Key Responsibilities · Lead and manage a team of WordPress developers, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery. · Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. · Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA, and DevOps teams for successful project execution. · Conduct detailed code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure clean, maintainable code · Analyze requirements, propose technical strategies, and create solution roadmaps. · Troubleshoot and resolve advanced performance, security, and compatibility issues. · Stay up-to-date with WordPress trends, emerging tools, and evolving development practices. · Maintain clear technical documentation and provide guidance during deployments and client handovers. · Handle project risk assessment, sprint planning, and task allocation with a solution-first mindset. Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. · Minimum 5 years of experience in WordPress development. · Proven expertise in PHP, MySQL, custom plugin and theme development . · Solid knowledge of REST APIs, third-party API integrations, and advanced SQL queries . · Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive web design. · Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, etc. · Familiarity with Git and version control best practices. · Excellent problem-solving , debugging, and communication skills. · Strong leadership, team coordination, and decision-making abilities. Preferred Skills · Knowledge of headless WordPress or REST API integrations. · Understanding of WordPress security, SEO, and performance optimization techniques. · Experience in managing hosting environments and deployment. · Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello. · Ability to conduct technical interviews and contribute to team building.
