Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Project Delivery Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of WordPress projects. In this role, you will take ownership of delivery pipelines, team coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring high client satisfaction, operational excellence, and timely outcomes. You will play a key role in streamlining delivery processes and integrating AI tools to improve task tracking, resource forecasting, and reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day delivery of WordPress projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and client expectations are met
Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity in scope, communication, and outcomes
Monitor task pipelines, sprint progress, and resource allocation using project management tools like ClickUp or an Internal Project management system
Facilitate regular sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and delivery reviews with developers, designers, and QA teams
Collaborate with the technical team to review estimates, manage workloads, and track billable utilization
Conduct quality control checks for deliverables and ensure alignment with development best practices and client standards
Leverage AI tools for optimizing delivery planning, QA automation, and reporting
Identify delivery risks early, propose mitigation plans, and proactively communicate delays or blockers
Contribute to the improvement of SOPs, delivery templates, and internal performance metrics
Share delivery reports and project status with internal leadership and client stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience in delivering WordPress development projects in an agency or white-label environment
Strong understanding of custom WordPress development, including themes, plugins, ACF, WooCommerce, and Multisite
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, Jira, or Asana)
Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills
Hands-on experience with delivery tracking, QA processes, and team performance monitoring
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Interest in AI tools and automation to improve delivery and reporting workflows

Preferred Skills

Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams
Familiarity with technical SEO, page speed optimization, and WordPress security best practices
Experience with client reporting, billing systems, and project forecasting
Exposure to implementing AI-assisted QA, effort estimation, or performance review workflows
