Role Description This is a remote internship role for a WordPress Developer Intern. You’ll work on WordPress website development, customization, plugin updates, UI fixes, content updates and more. You’ll also collaborate with our internal team and gain practical exposure to SEO, responsiveness, user experience improvements and marketing. This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience on WordPress Development and enhance your skills in a remote work environment. Qualifications Basic understanding of website development and programming languages. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Elementor and more. Prior experience with WordPress is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Experience with responsive design is advantageous. Knowledge of SEO best practices is beneficial. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. Open to feedback and ready to improve skills. Experience with graphic design tools is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engg., or a related field. Role Responsibilities Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites. Collaborate with the design team to implement website designs effectively. Work on various website plugin installations and customization. Participate in debugging and troubleshooting website issues. Create and maintain documentation for web projects. Implement responsive web design for mobile, tablet and ipad compatibility. Perform regular backups and updates of the website. Support ongoing website optimization for speed and performance. Gather and analyze user requirements to improve website functionality. Conduct SEO analysis to adhere to best practices. Help manage website content using content management systems. Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies. Engage in team meetings and contribute ideas for projects. Support the team in testing and deceloping the new features and plugins. Provide user support and training for website management. Note Joining: Immediate Location: Remote (candidates must have their own devices) Stipend/Internship: Unpaid Duration: Minimum commitment of 4 months This is a remote, unpaid internship designed to help you gain hands-on experience in WordPress and web development while working closely with our team at Dharmakit Networks.
