Position Summary Wintel Engineer (L3) Wintel Engineer (L3) will be responsible for management and delivery of Windows based services. The individual can handle issues with lot more independence and can suggest and implement services improvements plans. Incumbent identifies and highlights scope of automation to lead or Managers. Also responsible for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration management, Availability management, and Capacity Management and Performance management activities will have complete ownership and accountability of Planning and performing preventative maintenance activities; generate reports. Closely work with Project team in rolling out new infrastructure changes w.r.t Microsoft technologies. Also coordinate with other domains in enhancing the existing IT Infrastructure. 20.00 % 3 Service Delivery Perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents and handle technical escalations Plan, execute and report Availability, MIS, Performance & Capacity management. Oversee and monitor the delivery of work of the team and provide them technical guidance Performance, Availability and Capacity Management. Assist the Team manager/Technical Lead in allocation of resources to tasks in order to ensure timely project delivery. Scheduling of tasks and monitoring the progress/delivery of the team over timelines. Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change management [MK1] processes. Perform releases after the change is raised and approved by the Stakeholders. 30.00 % 4 Service Support L3 level experience in Windows Operating systems support, Problem determination and resolution within SLAs. Advanced administration and troubleshooting Active Directory and Exchange server. Patch management, RCA analysis, Application installs and upgrades following procedures documented by application owners. Meeting SLA in time to fix the errors and problems. Quickly analyse & diagnose technical problems, Independently generates solutions based on analytical, technical skills and business knowledge, Mentor and train other team members Advanced troubleshooting on Windows Network Infrastructure services like DNS, DHCP, WINS, FTP, and IIS etc. Perform Incident Management for all Server & Exchange related Incidents. Troubleshoot Mail flow, Queues, performance related issues of Exchange Servers. Good troubleshooting and Problem solving skills. Experience in Active Directory and Messaging (Exchange 2007/13/16). Understanding of TCP/IP networking. Knowledge & Skills (Functional/Technical) Proven Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007, including routing, recovery, installation, management, monitoring and administration.knowledge on Skype For Business, DHCP, Hyper V Good hands on experience on Windows Platform with 2008/2003/2012/2016 operating systems. Enterprise Level Security patch management - Working knowledge of technical patching using tools like WSUS, SCCM Troubleshoot Mail flow, Queues, performance related issues of Exchange Servers. Advanced Active Directory administration and troubleshooting including Recovery & Maintenance. Diagnosing performance issues on Windows Server (2003/2008) using Windows diagnostic tools. Working knowledge of Virtualization technology : Hyper-V 2008/2012 Complies with all company policies and procedures Server hardening, critical services monitoring, power shell and scripting to automate to Daily Check List Review and test Microsoft Patches on servers. First level troubleshooting on applications, checking OS events and its appropriate plan of action. OS level debugging, memory dump analysis and issues resolutions. Leadership / Managerial Attributes Promotes teamwork to develop & deliver successful solutions. Task delegation and resource management with effective people management. Documentation with regards to SOP, Hardening, Policies and Procedures, Best Practices. Project planning and execution with quality deliverables. Risk assessment and mitigation plan. Other Requirements (licences, certifications and specialized training) MCSE Certification preferred [MK1] Servers inventory management (Physical & Virtual)
