Middleware Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize middleware products, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, driving resolution in collaboration with peer technology teams.
• Implement and maintain security standards, including TLS, ciphers, and certificates.
• Integrate middleware solutions with upstream and downstream services using JMS, J2C, JDBC, JCA, and Web Services.
• Utilize industry-recognized monitoring tools (e.g., APM - App Dynamics, Grafana, Dynatrace) to ensure system health and performance.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PERL, Shell, and PowerShell to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes, adhering to ITIL best practices.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to middleware administration.

Mandatory Skills

• In-depth knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS.
• Strong Technical Troubleshooting and configuration skills in middleware technologies.
• Proficient in debugging techniques and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience deploying application and web servers in large and complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to work onsite and adhere to the local office working model.
