Job Description

Job Title:

Experience:

Windows System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain
Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022)
and related infrastructure.
Administer and troubleshoot
Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
.
Monitor and analyze system performance using
Splunk dashboards and alerts
.
Perform regular
DB sanity checks
, monitoring health and availability of connected databases.
Manage and troubleshoot
network connectivity
, routing, and firewall-related issues.
Implement system updates, patches, and security configurations.
Automate administrative tasks using
PowerShell scripting
.
Ensure high availability, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.

Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in
Windows Server Administration
and
Active Directory
.
Hands-on experience with
Splunk (configuration, alerting, log analysis, dashboards)
.
Solid understanding of
networking concepts
TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Familiarity with
database monitoring and sanity checks
(SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle).
Experience with
virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
.
Scripting proficiency in
PowerShell / Bash
.
Exposure to
Azure or other cloud platforms
is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as
MCSA / MCSE / Splunk Certified Power User / CompTIA Network+
preferred.
