Job Description

Location : Chennai

Mode : Work from office

This role focuses on implementing automation mostly on Cisco devices like switches and routers.

We require 3-6 years of an experienced person who is sound enough on Cisco switches and routers with deep knowledge of the switching & routing and deep troubleshooting/deployment.

Key responsibilities

Understanding a large network with multiple devices and need to project/translate them into a understandable architecture
Translate existing Cisco CLI configurations into YANGbased, modeldriven configurations and reusable templates. ( Optional but highly preferred if worked on this)
Develop and maintain Jinja2 templates that support modular, reusable network configuration patterns based on device type, role, and location. ( Optional but highly preferred if worked on this)
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve automation workflows and pipelines to increase reliability, safety, and speed of network changes.

Must have

Strong in Cisco Routing and switching - CCNA preferred,Strong in Cisco Switching,VLAN,ARP,Looping,MAC address.
Able to modify the Cisco CLI as per advanced requirements.
Understanding of Cisco IOS language and YANG
Templating and Configuration Generation

Strong Jinja2 templating experience for generating modular, reusable network configurations.

Networking Expertise

Strong Cisco networking background, including handson work with production network configurations.
Ability to analyze existing configurations and design modular, reusable template structures based on device type, role, and location.
