Warehouse Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION : To oversees a warehouse's daily operations, managing staff, inventory, shipping/receiving, and safety to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Key duties include assigning tasks, training employees, maintaining inventory records through cycle counts, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and coordinating with other departments to meet operational goals , Essential skills for this role include strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, along with familiarity with warehouse management systems. Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure products are available when needed.  Manage the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.  Implement and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.  Liaise and coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to manage incoming and outgoing shipments and align with operational needs.  Handle documentation, reporting, scheduling, and other administrative duties related to warehouse operations.  Oversees warehouse operations. Uses common warehouse management systems (WMS). Hires and manages warehouse associates. Organizes and leads warehouse trainings. Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP). Sets the shift schedule and daily assignments. Develops and improves warehouse processes and procedures. Supervises packaging, receiving, and shipping activities. Completes packaging, receiving, and shipping tasks as needed. Tracks in-bound and out-bound inventory. Orders new supplies and equipment. Collaborates with the customer service team and other departments.
