Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storage, dispatch). Ensure accurate stock keeping, binning, and timely GRN (Goods Receipt Notes) entries. Maintain optimal stock levels, FIFO/LIFO practices, and prevent pilferage/shortages. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliations with accounts. Team & Process Management Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and helpers to ensure smooth functioning. Implement SOPs for material handling, safety, and hygiene standards. Train, motivate, and monitor staff performance, ensuring productivity and discipline. Dispatch & Logistics Coordinate with sales and distribution teams to ensure timely dispatches. Plan loading/unloading schedules and route optimization with transporters. Monitor daily vehicle movements and delivery confirmations. Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to excise, legal, and company compliance requirements. Monitor temperature, cleanliness, and storage conditions per product standards. Maintain daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports – inward, outward, stock positions, breakages, losses. Facility & Asset Management Oversee maintenance of warehouse infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems. Coordinate AMC schedules for weighing machines, forklifts, CCTV, fire extinguishers, etc. Ensure safety & security of materials, facility, and staff at all times. Requirements: Graduate / Postgraduate (Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations preferred). 5-10 years of experience in warehouse management Strong knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse software (ERP/Tally/SAP). Leadership and team management skills with problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
