Warehouse Associate

Receive and Process Shipments: Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, and accurately record new inventory using a warehouse management system (WMS) or computer software. Inventory Management and Organization: Sort, organize, and store items in designated warehouse locations; conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts) and audits to maintain accurate stock records. Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick products from stock, pack them securely, and label packages for shipment according to customer orders and deadlines. Equipment Operation: Safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified or trained). Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and report any safety hazards or equipment maintenance needs to a supervisor. Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals and improve operational efficiency.  Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and consistently lift and move objects, often up to 50 lbs. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in order picking, inventory counts, and inspecting products to minimize errors and damages. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain an organized workspace. Technical Literacy: Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, data entry). Communication & Teamwork: Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, evenings, and weekends, based on operational demands.
