Warehouse Associate

Key responsibilities Receiving and unloading: Accept incoming shipments, check for damage or discrepancies, and unload products from trucks.  Inventory management: Keep accurate records of stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and organize products in designated locations.  Order fulfillment: Pick products from storage, pack them securely for shipment, and prepare orders for dispatch.  Equipment operation: Safely operate machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.  Warehouse maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following all safety regulations and procedures.  Shipping and loading: Load finished orders onto trucks for delivery or pickup.  Reporting: Maintain required records and report any discrepancies or safety issues to supervisors.  Skills and qualifications Physical stamina: Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.  Attention to detail: Crucial for tasks like inventory counts, order picking, and damage inspection.  Basic math and computer skills: Needed for record-keeping and inventory management.  Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other staff to meet daily targets.  Experience: Prior warehouse experience is often preferred, and forklift certification is a plus for certain roles.  Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for entry-level positions.
