Visual Merchandiser

Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Store Visual Merchandiser to enhance the aesthetic appeal and profitability of our footwear and bags retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining all visual directives, creating compelling product displays, and ensuring a visually engaging shopping environment that drives sales and strengthens our brand image.

Key Responsibilities

* Implement Visual Strategies:

* Execute all visual merchandising directives, planograms, and seasonal campaigns on time and to standard.

* Design and install creative window displays and interior product presentations that highlight key products, promotions, and new arrivals.

* Store Presentation & Maintenance:

* Maintain high standards of visual presentation, including cleanliness, lighting, signage placement, and display upkeep across all areas of the store.

* Ensure all footwear and bags are displayed effectively, utilizing appropriate fixtures,and props, (where applicable).

* Regularly refresh and rotate merchandise displays to keep the store environment dynamic and engaging.

* Product Expertise & Sales Focus:

* Collaborate with the store management team to identify best-selling items, slow movers, and promotional priorities to strategically place merchandise for maximum visibility and sales impact.

* Group and display products logically and aesthetically, telling a clear visual story (e.g., by collection, color, style, or end-use).

* Assist with new product receipts and stock replenishment to ensure displays are always full and well-maintained.

* Team Collaboration & Communication:

* Train store staff on basic visual merchandising standards, product placement, and maintenance to ensure consistency.

* Provide feedback and share photos of implemented displays with the management team/head office.

* Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure merchandising efforts support sales goals and inventory levels.

Qualifications

* Experience: Minimum of 1-2years of proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably within the retail industry, with specific experience in footwear, bags, or fashion accessories being a significant advantage.

* Education: A degree or certification in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fashion, or a related field is a plus.

* Skills & Attributes:

* Strong Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative and appealing displays.

* Excellent Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring displays are flawless, neat, and precisely executed.

* Proactive & Hands-on: Willingness to be physically involved in setting up displays, moving fixtures, and working with tools (e.g., ladders, basic hand tools).

* Commercial Awareness: Understanding of how visual merchandising directly impacts sales and customer flow.

* Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.

* Communication: Effective communication skills to train and guide store associates.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
