About the Role

As a Visual Merchandiser for Travel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how users discover, engage with, and fall in love with travel experiences on Scapia. You’ll combine creativity, customer insight, and data to curate compelling travel stories that drive engagement, growth, and business impact.

What You’ll Do

Merchandising, Marketing & CRM

• Curate and showcase tours, experiences, and activities through engaging in-app and off-app touchpoints
• Identify and execute merchandising opportunities across banners, collections, journeys, and CRM channels
• Bring fresh, relevant, and seasonal travel stories to customers that inspire action

Market & Customer Insight

• Deeply understand customer behavior, preferences, and travel intent
• Track market trends and emerging travel themes to identify new opportunities
• Contribute to short-term campaigns and long-term merchandising strategies

Analytics & Performance

• Analyse merchandising and marketing performance to derive actionable insights
• Link data with business and product outcomes to continuously optimise content and placement

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with design, copy, product, marketing, and category teams to deliver cohesive and impactful experiences
• Ensure visual storytelling aligns with Scapia’s brand voice and business goals

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in category merchandising, marketing, or selling preferably in online travel, fashion, food, or lifestyle commerce
• Strong customer-first mindset with a knack for storytelling and visual curation
• Creative flair with a sharp visual sense and attention to detail
• Comfort working with data and translating insights into action
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Bias for action and willingness to work hands on in a fast paced startup environment
• A genuine travel enthusiast who loves inspiring others to explore the world
