Role Overview

Regional College of Management Bangalore is looking for a senior Business Analytics professional with deep, hands-on industry experience to deliver practical, tool-driven analytics education. This role is ideal for practitioners who actively work with data and want to teach real-world analytics, coding, and visualization to management students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver application-oriented sessions in Business Analytics with strong practical depth
• Teach and demonstrate hands-on usage of Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib / Seaborn, basic ML concepts), R, SQL and data handling workflows
• Conduct tool-based training in Tableau, Power BI
• Design and guide: Live dashboards; Case-based analytics projects; Industry-style datasets and problem statements
• Emphasize business decision-making through data, not just coding
• Mentor students on analytics career paths, tools, and project portfolios
• Contribute to curriculum structuring focused on industry readiness
• Support certifications, capstone projects, and placement-focused analytics training

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering background (B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent) - mandatory. MBA desirable
• Strong hands-on industry experience in Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Data Science
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R
• Strong working experience with Tableau and Power BI
• Ability to teach end-to-end analytics workflows: Data cleaning; Analysis; Visualization; Insight generation
• Comfortable conducting labs, workshops, and interactive sessions

Preferred Profile

• Senior analytics professionals currently working in Analytics firms/Consulting/Product companies/Data science or BI roles
• Professionals who have mentored teams or conducted internal trainings
• Experience working with real datasets and business problems
• Prior teaching or training experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Visiting faculty/industry experts are strongly encouraged to apply
