Video Producer (Videographer) — On-site, India
About The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced, hands-on Videographer / Video Producer to lead on-site production across India. You will own camera operation, lighting, sound capture and end-to-end post-production to produce polished assets optimized for web and social. This role suits a creative storyteller with technical expertise, strong organisational skills and a portfolio that demonstrates impact.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead on-site shoots: operate camera (DSLR/mirrorless/4K), set up lighting and capture high-quality audio for interviews, product films and events.
- Collaborate with creative leads to translate briefs into shot lists, storyboards and practical production plans; ensure on-time delivery under tight schedules.
- Execute efficient workflows: manage ingest, logging, rough cuts and final editing to deliver broadcast-ready and social-optimized formats.
- Perform color grading, motion graphics and basic VFX to elevate visual quality and maintain brand consistency.
- Maintain and troubleshoot gear, coordinate local vendors and manage on-site logistics including permits and location requirements.
- Present drafts to stakeholders, incorporate feedback quickly, and deliver final masters with proper compression and metadata for multiple platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years experience in professional videography or video production with a strong portfolio showcasing on-site shoots and finished edits.
- Proficient with camera systems (Canon, Sony, Panasonic, mirrorless), lenses and stabilisation tools (gimbal, tripod, shoulder rigs).
- Strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro; working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics.
- Practical knowledge of lighting techniques and on-camera audio capture (boom, lavalier, field recorders).
- Comfortable delivering multiple aspect ratios and codecs for social platforms (16:9, 9:16, 1:1); basic color grading using DaVinci Resolve or similar.
- Excellent communication, time-management and client-facing skills; ability to travel to shoot locations across India.
Preferred
- Experience producing videos for tech, SaaS, e-commerce or agency clients.
- Knowledge of multi-camera live shoots, switchers and basic studio lighting setups.
- Experience with collaboration tools, version control for media and cloud-based asset management.
