Role Overview
The Vice President Sales will lead the organization s sales strategy and execution in the Import lending vertical. This role is responsible for driving growth through direct and channel sales, managing high-performance teams, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring superior customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Execution
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives.
Identify new markets, growth opportunities, and competitive threats.
Design and launch innovative go-to-market strategies.
2. Team Leadership Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the national/regional sales team.
Set clear KPIs and ensure team alignment with business goals.
Promote a high-performance culture through coaching and capability-building.
3. Revenue Target Management
Generate 150+ CR Acquisition book in 12 - 18 Months time.
Own the PL for the sales function.
Drive sales targets for retail,
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and pipelines.
4. Channel Partner Development
Expand distribution through DSAs, digital channels, and strategic partnerships.
Manage a large network of channel partners and aggregators.
Ensure compliance and operational efficiency across all sales channels.
5. Customer Focus Risk Alignment
Champion customer acquisition with focus on creditworthy profiles.
Collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Product teams to ensure alignment of sales With portfolio quality.
- Improve customer conversion, TAT, and overall experience.
6. Technology Digital Enablement
Collaborate with product and tech teams to digitize the lending journey.
Drive adoption of sales automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics.
Preferred skills and qualifications -
Education:
MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Finance from a reputed institute.
Experience:
12+ years in financial services/lending/fintech.
Deep exposure to business loans, or SME lending in a B2B Space.
Proven track record of scaling sales operations across geographies.
Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with sound understanding of credit/risk.
Expertise in digital lending tools and partner ecosystems.
High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and execution excellence.
Preferred Backgrounds
NBFCs, fintech lenders, banks with strong digital sales focus.
Experience in scaling B2B lending products.
