Vice President of Sales

As a VP Sales in our client's Tier 2 US-based IT Services company, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the company's growth journey. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving and executing the sales strategy to meet and exceed targets. This will involve a player-coach role where you will manage a team covering business development, pre-sales, and account executives. - Providing leadership and mentorship to foster a high-performance culture and professional growth within the sales team. - Contributing directly to the sales pipeline by owning accounts, closing high-value deals, and leading large transactions in a competitive market. - Expertly managing client relationships, account qualification, and strategic forecasting. - Negotiating pricing, contracts, and ensuring successful and prolonged campaign closures. To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess: - 10+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in a senior role within the IT services industry. - A proven track record of achieving/exceeding quotas and experience in leading diverse sales teams, including business development and account executives. - Strong experience in solution-based selling across Enterprise sales. - A Bachelor's degree (Masters/advanced degree preferred). - Strategic thinking abilities with exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Experience working with OEMs, channels, and nurturing key client/partner relationships.
