Vice President -Guy Carpenter – Fac


We will count on you to:

  • Responsible for placement of Facultative Reinsurance business for all lines of business for Cedants/ Insurers
  • Oversee post-placement activities including signed slips invoice, GST invoice, tax documentation and monitoring PPW dates to reinsurers.
  • Responsible for new business generation.
  • Responsible for zero failure in placement and any compliance breaches.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Focus on servicing existing client relationships and expanding the opportunities in the existing base
  • Gather & share market intelligence with leadership teams at regular frequencies.
  • Ability to work in conjunction with Global team on various tools, supporting local relationships for arriving at required result
  • Develop relationship with reinsurers and overseas colleagues and coordinate with them for best terms.
  • Responsible for providing leadership, support and guidance to the team.
  • Conduct trainings for colleagues.
  • Conduct Webinars for prospect and clients on key issue facing the industry or launching of new products.
  • Collaborate with all key internal functions and Marsh Third Party Fac to deliver best in class service to clients.


What you need to have:

  • 10-12 plus years of experience in insurance industry.
  • Experience in Insurance underwriting/Reinsurance/Reinsurance broking and claims management
  • Experience of handling tender business.
  • Knowledge of reinsurance and government business.
  • Well versed with IRDA regulations for reinsurance.
  • Knowledge of property insurance (preferable underwriting)
  • Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures i.e. Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients.
  • Strong knowledge of the various products/Analytics
  • Domain knowledge preferred.
