Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vice President Business Textile & Chemical located in South Delhi. The Vice President will be responsible for overseeing business operations, managing and analyzing financial performance, leading project management initiatives, and driving sales efforts. The role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring efficiency in operations to meet business goals.


Education "Bachelor/Master's degree in Textile Chemistry

MBA with above qualification will be given strong preference"

Experience Experience: Minimum 15-25 Years in Textile Chemical Sales and Technical Support

Proficiency in English and Hindi is a MUST along with strong communication skills

Ability to work independently, timely execution of responsibilities and problem-solving aptitude is a MUST

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Past experience in textile chemical majors such as Dystar, Archroma, Huntsman and Pidilite will be given strong preference

Past experience in PAN-India and Global textile chemical sales will be given strong preference

Profile Responsible for Overall P&L, Balance Sheet & Consistent Growth of Textile Chemical Business

Planning of marketing strategy, targets, volumes with management and sales team

Develop new avenues for sales outlets for consistent volume growth in domestic market while keeping credit exposure in check

Develop export markets for textile chemicals by aligning principals or in own private label brand

Ensure timely team building as per business needs and permissibility in financials

Liasoning with principles to align them on marketing strategy, special pricing and volumes

Managing of entire sales team, tracking sales data against targets and trouble-shooting lost sales to achieve targets

Ensuring strict credit control and make dedicated efforts to reduce exposure

Provide special price approvals to sales team

Customer visits and product trials along with sales team and principles wherever required or necessary

Manage customer complaints and direct team for appropriate action

Managing sales team visits based on sales data, business potential and nbd pipeline

Timely tracking of new business development pipeline- starting from sample to order

Continuous monitoring of competition products, prices and reporting to principles for aggressive action

New complimentary product identification, sourcing and marketing campaigns New Market Identification
