Position Overview

The Vertical Head – Automobility & LSH will oversee all strategic business activities within this vertical, leading key client relationships, driving growth, and implementing innovative supply chain solutions tailored to industry needs.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for end-to-end management of the Automobility & LSH vertical, including revenue generation, customer retention, and development of industry-specific solutions that differentiate Blue Dart in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the vertical’s business strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities and innovative solutions tailored to the Automobility & LSH sector.
  • Drive growth by expanding market share, increasing revenue, and enhancing service quality.

Client Management & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, tier-one suppliers, and leading lifestyle brands.
  • Ensure that clients receive high-value logistics services that meet their unique needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and key account negotiations.

Operational Excellence

  • Partner with internal teams to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor the performance of logistics services and initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage technology and analytics to enhance transparency, reduce lead times, and optimize supply chain processes.

Market Intelligence & Industry Insights

  • Stay informed about trends in the automotive, lifestyle, and home sectors.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and analyse industry data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Share insights with leadership to shape future product and service offerings.

Team Development

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team that drives results and fosters innovation.
  • Establish clear KPIs and provide ongoing feedback to ensure team success.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Essential: MBA/PGDM in Business Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain.
  • Preferred: Certification in Automotive Supply Chain Management, Logistics Strategy, or Business Analytics.

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or business leadership, with a focus on the automotive or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex client portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and creating customer-focused solutions.

  • Deep understanding of automotive supply chains, just-in-time logistics, and reverse logistics processes.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision-making and supply chain optimization.
