Key Responsibilities

• Deal Sourcing:

   Identify investors/LPs (Limited Partners) through networks, events, inbound leads, accelerators, and referrals.

• Evaluation of Investments :

   Analyze business models, financials, traction, and scalability of potential investments.

• Due Diligence:

   Support legal, financial, and compliance checks on shortlisted startups.

• Portfolio Support:

   Work with portfolio companies on fundraising, growth strategy, and performance tracking.

• Market Research:

   Conduct deep dives into sectors, prepare market maps, and identify emerging opportunities.

• Fund Operations:

   Assist with investment memos, reporting to LPs, and internal fund documentation.

• Ecosystem Building:

   Represent Renate Capital at startup events, demo days, and founder meetings.

Requirements

• Completed or Ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 6-12 Months of experience in VC, PE, consulting, investment banking, or startup strategy.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Strong networking skills and prior built-up network.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean team environment.

Compensation

• Fixed monthly salary ₹18,000 LPA to ₹28,000 LPA.
• Performance-based bonus.
• Long-term incentives / carry participation possible for high performers.
