Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage a Pan-India network of transport vendors and fleet owners.

Ensure availability of all vehicle types (Tata Ace to 40 ft Trailer) based on requirement.

Source vehicles at competitive market rates through active vendor engagement.

Negotiate and finalize rate contracts or trip-wise hiring agreements.

Onboard new vendors as per company SOPs including documentation and KYC.

Maintain vendor performance data, cost sheets, and compliance records.

Coordinate closely with Traffic, Sales, and Accounts teams for smooth operations.

Monitor market trends and advise cost-optimization strategies.

Resolve vendor-related issues including service gaps, payment disputes, etc.


Essential Attributes:

Strong FTL market knowledge and understanding of vehicle types.

Wide vendor network (Pan-India).

Excellent negotiation and cost management skills.

Vendor onboarding & relationship-building capability.

Proficiency in Excel, emails & basic transport documentation.

Strong communication and coordination skills.
