Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to select and develop vendors for electronic & mechanical parts in alignment with business requirements. You will collaborate closely with the Product Development team to ensure procurement strategies are tailored to meet product goals, particularly focusing on B2C operations. Your role involves identifying, evaluating, and on-boarding suppliers specializing in kitchen appliances, kitchen robotics, or similar products through thorough market research for competitive pricing and quality assessment. Leading techno-commercial negotiations with suppliers and managing price revisions based on market trends will be essential. Additionally, you will evaluate and validate vendors to ensure their compliance with company standards. Proficiency in developing foreign vendors is crucial to expand sourcing capabilities effectively. The use of ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools will be key in optimizing procurement processes while implementing Value Analysis (VA) and Value Engineering (VE) methodologies to control costs. Your duties will encompass overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, tracking, and fulfilment. Maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet consumer demand and minimize overstock or wastage will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be required to prepare and manage procurement budgets for B2C operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks associated with supplier contracts, product quality, and delivery delays. Being willing to travel for vendor visits is a crucial aspect of this role. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), or related field. - Experience: Minimum 4+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a B2C environment. - Prior experience in procurement within domestic kitchen appliances, Smart home automation, or similar industries is advantageous. Skills: - Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills. - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings and component datasheets.,
