Vendor Coordinator

The Vendor Coordinator role involves taking charge of managing relationships with furniture vendors, ensuring on-time delivery of products, negotiating contracts, and keeping inventory levels in check. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and new vendors. It is crucial to evaluate vendor performance and offer feedback to maintain service levels aligned with company standards. In case of any issues or discrepancies, prompt and efficient resolution with vendors is essential. Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous deals will be a key responsibility. Preparation and processing of purchase orders in adherence to company policies are vital tasks. Monitoring inventory levels to guarantee optimal stock levels, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams for managing incoming shipments, and conducting regular inventory audits are part of the daily routine. Collaboration with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and finance will be required to align procurement activities with business objectives. Communication of delivery schedules and product availability to relevant teams is essential. Regular reporting on vendor performance and inventory status is expected. Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations is paramount. It is also crucial to maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, purchase orders, and correspondence.
