BACKGROUND EDUCATIONAL ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE: - B.E/B.TECH/M.TECH GRADUATION/POST GRADUATION IN MECHANICAL / AUTOMOBILE / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING JOB ROLE RESPONSIBILITY Understanding of impact of various vehicle dynamic parameters such as RHB, NVH, Drivability, crash etc. and have a balance between cost, weight efficiency (FE/Range). Understanding of various vehicle dynamic parameters terminologies related to fuel efficiency emission like mode FE, Energy efficiency cycle etc. Be able to estimate the impact of changing various vehicle parameters (using some form of MBD) on emission such as impact on FE due to weight on center of gravity etc. Interact with testing teams for analyzing failures, correlate the results of CAE with physical testing results and making improvements in CAE model. Be able to predict the market strategy of various OEM from point of view of launches of various powertrains, alternate fuel and vehicle positioning. (like selection of sub-4m vehicle with large engine to have provision of turbo etc.) COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS. (TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL / BEHIVIOURAL) Thorough understanding of automotive engineering and regulatory and testing guidelines (ex. CAF , JC08, WLTP, MIDC etc.). Thorough understanding the impact of various aspects on vehicle emission and fuel efficiency. Understand Vehicle dynamics and relationship of each component over vehicle performance. Basic knowledge of CAD software e.g. UG NX. Experience of Project Management will be added advantage. On-road driving experience of 2 years is must. Key Responsibilities Analyze data from on-vehicle sensors to assess handling, braking, and comfort performance Develop and refine metrics that help quantify vehicle behavior and performance Provide insights to optimize vehicle systems such as chassis, suspension, tires, and brakes Correlate objective data with subjective rider feedback to support system development Work closely with cross-functional teams, including vehicle dynamics, test engineers, and system developers Automate data processing workflows and create dashboards for efficient analysis Document findings and present insights to relevant stakeholders Ideal Candidate Minimum BE in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering; ME in a relevant field is a plus 4 to 6 years in vehicle-level data analysis, sensor data interpretation, and system performance evaluation Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems (VBOX, 2D-Datarecording, Dewesoft, or similar) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Python, MATLAB,NI DIAdem or other data analysis tools Good understanding of vehicle dynamics and system interactions Excellent communication and teamwork skills Good to Have (Preferred Qualifications) Knowledge of CAN bus data and vehicle diagnostics Familiarity with machine learning techniques for data-driven optimization Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboards)

Should be eager to work with his/her hands. The job involves a lot of practical demonstrations and that means physical work. The candidate should be willing to get his/her hands dirty while changing tyres, balancing wheels, performing a wheel alignment, performing some welding work. 10. A salesperson s job involves a lot of travelling and the candidate should have his/her own Two-wheeler and be open to travelling a lot. 11. Should be familiar with the below concepts: Basics of Suspension and its Geometry followed by Steering Mechanisms, Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics. This includes Wheel Alignment, Wheel Balancing, and Road Force Balancing. Basics of Engine Operation. Basics of HVAC in Automobiles. Basics on Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical and Electronics. Hydraulics & Pneumatics basics will include the working of Double Acting pump, Power pack etc. Pascals law. Electrical Basics would include Ohm s Law fundamentals, Usage of Multimeter, Basic Electrical Symbols Electronics: Diode configurations, Basic Intel 8081 Microcontroller principle etc. ADAS Features and usage. Basic knowledge of the Indian and international automobile industry and market.

Key Responsibilities: Will be part of team responsible for Development of Chassis component & management of Engineering Change of mass production models. 1. Analysis of field complaints & assembly line problem and take necessary design countermeasure. 2. Development of alternate source and localization of components for mass production models. 3. Implementation of regulation change in running models. 4. Evaluation of supplier change request and VA ideas implementation as per project timeline. Should have adequate knowledge of Chassis parts Design, drawing, GT&T controls, tolerance stack-up analysis, Statistical control, FTA analysis & CAD system. (UG NX/ UG Motion) Basic know-how and understanding of doing CAE simulation. Functional Competencies Basic understanding about Chassis system, design aspects & function. Ability to work hands on with Chassis parts. Understand Vehicle dynamics and relationship of each component over vehicle performance. Fundamental knowledge of regulatory compliance. Experience of Project Management will be added advantage.
