Steering System Design

As a Steering System Designer, your role involves finalizing the steering system design, understanding BLDC motor design & specifications for EPS system, reviewing EPS system specifications with concerned teams and releasing final specs, interpreting results and preparing reports, supporting design and testing teams for vehicle performance improvements, and having knowledge of ADAS development with EPS system perspective. Understanding ride & handling parameters with actual vehicle feeling as a driver & passenger is preferable. Your key responsibilities will include: - Finalizing steering system design - Understanding BLDC motor design & specifications for EPS system - Reviewing EPS system specifications with concerned teams and releasing final specs - Interpreting results and preparing reports - Supporting design and testing teams for vehicle performance improvements - Having knowledge of ADAS development with EPS system perspective - Understanding ride & handling parameters with actual vehicle feeling as a driver & passenger Your technical competencies should include: - Hands-on experience of UG - Good knowledge in the area of Vehicle Dynamics, Ride handling, and EPS control system, ADAS - Knowledge of Controller hardware system design & vehicle CAN Architecture - Ability to suggest countermeasures for design improvements and cost/weight reductions - Ability to understand market/prototype failures and capable of analyzing the failures Educational Qualifications required for this role: - BE / B. Tech in Electronics/Mechatronics with at least 60% marks and above throughout your education.,
