Assistant Manager - Vehicle Test & Validation Engineer

You will be joining our PD Vehicle Testing team as a Vehicle Test & Validation Engineer in Chennai. As an Assistant Manager, you will report to the Manager Testing & Validation and play a crucial role in ensuring motorcycles meet functional, performance, durability, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing DVP for complete vehicle and subsystems, covering functional, performance, durability, and regulatory tests. - Conducting road tests in various conditions to validate vehicle performance. - Setting up vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition for accurate measurements and analysis. - Analyzing test results and providing data-driven feedback to design teams. - Identifying vehicle-related issues and proposing corrective actions for improved reliability and durability. - Supporting homologation and regulatory compliance testing according to global standards. - Managing external test agencies and suppliers for specialized validation activities. - Contributing to the development of test standards and continuous improvement of test processes. - Ensuring all activities adhere to quality, safety, and environmental standards. You should have 3 to 6 years of experience in Vehicle Testing and Vehicle Dynamics, along with a BE/BTech qualification.
