Key Responsibilities:

Conduct
Vehicle Dynamics (Steering, Brakes, Handling)
performance evaluation of heavy commercial vehicles.
Manage
Durability & Reliability Testing
including structural durability, accelerated life tests, endurance testing, highway durability, and consumable life monitoring (tyre, brake, clutch, oil).
Perform
Off-road and Defense Vehicle Testing
(water wading, mud splash, winch pull test, articulation, shower test).
Liaise with
external test agencies (ARAI, VRDE)
for certification and compliance.
Plan and execute
duty cycles
(HAT, RMC, Ghat, Garbage cycle, etc.) for robust validation.
Benchmark competitor OEM vehicles for performance gaps and future product targets.
Drive
VAVE / ICR cost optimization initiatives
.
Prepare test plans, data analysis, test reports, dashboards, and ESO documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:
B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (IIT/NIT/reputed institute preferred).
Experience:
4-8 years in Commercial Vehicle R&D / Testing / Validation.
Strong expertise in Vehicle Dynamics, Durability & Endurance Testing.
Hands-on with MATLAB, data analysis & reporting.
Exposure to certification & liaison with agencies (ARAI, VRDE).
Knowledge of benchmarking & cost optimization (VAVE/ICR).
