Job Overview We are looking for a seasoned Software Test Architect to strategize and lead the development of our Smart products. Establish and standardize automated test frameworks for all the product categories including inverters, Fans, water heaters, pumps, stabilizers, Modular switches, Software Apps (Cloud, Web & Mobile). Conduct automated analysis, assessment, and reporting of the test results to management. Drive cyber security compliance. This role should collaborate closely with design, engineering and cross-functional teams ensuring high product quality throughout the product life cycle. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Architecture : Define and execute software test strategy and architecture for all product categories. Test Automation : Drive automation first approach with combination of tools and methods to improve test coverage and execution efficiency. Develop modular, reusable test frameworks and standardize them. Test Planning & Execution : Proactive involvement in requirement analysis, test planning, test case development and execution. Lead other teams members towards test excellence. Quality Metrics : Establish and drive leading and lagging Quality metrics with clear product category wise dashboards Continuous Testing (CT) : Partner with DevOps team in driving Shift Left, Cyber Security (SecOps) and CT practises. Ensure seamless integration of test process in SDLC. Collaboration : Work closely with the design and engineering teams in development of high-quality product. Support Agile Scrum / SAFe, DevOps practises across development teams and coach / mentor critical people on Verification & Validation activities. Customer Insights : Continuously gather post launch feedback and incorporate learnings in the Test cycle. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor/Masters degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science related field. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Test Management, Test Strategy & Automation, Quality Metrics, Test execution, with a good track record in launching quality consumer or industrial products. Experience within automated and continuous testing in embedded systems and software applications. Conversant with HIL, SIL, BDD, CT, Agile Scrum, DevSecOps practises. Expert in creating a test strategy for nonfunctional (performance, ilities) and cyber security testing. Exposure to Wireless protocols, Cloud Services and related test methods will be an added advantage Hands on with test automation frameworks, tools (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Test Complete etc) with good programming skills in python, LabView etc Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
